PROJECT MANAGER - MEICA - WATER - REMOTE - WEST OF IRELAND

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading specialist Water and
Wastewater design, build & operate Contractors.

The Project Manager will direct and manage the project team including
engineering staff, supervisors, designers, and sub-contractors, they
will manage Client / Stakeholder requirements and maintain Client /
Stakeholder relationships. 

This position will require the person to have full ownership and
responsibility for ensuring the safe, efficient, timely execution of a
projects in accordance with deadlines, budgetary, programme and
quality requirements.

Defining clear roles, responsibilities and deliverables to the project
team.

Planning, managing and delivering the construction activities in a
performance and fashion that epitomizes the company’s vision,
strategy and values.

Ensuring early project planning with detail and foresight.

Development and maintenance of a contract programme.

Monitoring and reporting on construction productivity.

Ensuring commercial and contractual compliance with company policies
and procedures on the project.

Preparing and regular review of project costs, budgets, forecasts and
resource requirements.

Ensure design is being developed to provide the optimum solution for
the Client and the project.

Educating, coaching and mentoring project staff while promoting
continual improvement.

Ensuring the teams adhere to all company policies and procedures

Adhering to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture
throughout the company.

Ensuring that HSQE Management Systems and processes are adhered to,
implemented and maintained.

Developing and maintaining relationships with the clients and their
representatives

REQUIREMENTS:

A degree in engineering or equivalent experience to support your
competency in the role,

A member of the relevant Professional Institution,

Chartered Status (or working towards it),

8+ years water and wastewater industry contracting experience

Irish/EU Driving Licence
